Rodney Alston

Rodney is an eighteen year old gentleman from Washington, DC. He is the son of Tajuana Alston.  An avid fan of the Washington Redskins, Rodney enjoys reading, playing and watching sports, and listening to music. His best high school memory was being elected Homecoming King by his peers. He cites Hill Harper’s, “Letters to a Young Brother” as his favorite book.

Rodney says he chose to attend Lincoln because of the loving and warm environment.

He plans on majoring in Physical Education while at Lincoln, with the eventual goal of becoming a National Track & Field coach. Rodney says that his contribution to society will be to give back to his community in Washington, DC.  He says winning the Thomas B. Cookerly Scholarship is his most notable achievement to date.
